Name: Anita Martinez

Occupation: Private Caregiver, have been in the medical field most of my life; 1980-1993 worked at Ballinger Memorial Hospital and part-time with Ballinger EMS, 1993-2000 full time with Ballinger EMS taking on the role as an EMT and office manager and all insurance billing, 2000-2007 billing all insurances for D.M.E. in San Angelo, 2010 to present- private caregiver.

Education: Graduated BHS and attended nursing school.

Family: Born and raised in Runnels County, lived most of my life in Ballinger, 2007- In 2007 I took on the role of raising 3 wonderful nephews-AJ,Travis and Christopher Martinez and in 2010 legally adopted all three boys.

What are the most important issues you want to address if elected as the a member of the Ballinger City Council?

If elected, my goal is to play a role in making Ballinger an awesome place to live in and raise a family,plus continue with street improvements and water issues. Please before you vote ask questions of me. My answers may surprise you.

What do you think you can bring to the position if elected?

I will bring hope, improvements and fresh ideas from a female point of view.

What do you feel qualifies you for the city council position?

I feel my involvement working in the medical community in the past is an excellent qualification.
