Bearcat Stadium will be decked out in pink when fans and friends commemorate of the Pink Out game, which has become a tradition because of Marsha Jo Fry, a beloved Ballinger home economics teacher who was stricken by breast cancer and ultimately succumbed to the disease eight years ago.

Bearcat Stadium will be decked out in pink when fans and friends commemorate of the Pink Out game, which has become a tradition because of Marsha Jo Fry, a beloved Ballinger home economics teacher who was stricken by breast cancer and ultimately succumbed to the disease eight years ago.

The event also coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event will take place on Friday, Oct. 6, when the Ballinger Bearcats take on the Mason Punchers at Bearcat Stadium. Be sure and wear pink to commemorate the Pink Out event.

The event is organized and sponsored by the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.
