The Pottsboro Independent School District’s board of trustees will hold a special meeting Tuesday to discuss whether to call a November bond election for facility updates throughout the district.

The board is poised to review its options and projects under a possible $54.7 million bond package, which includes a new $27 million elementary school, $2.5 million in district-wide technology upgrades, a new $1.5 million administration building and roughly $19 million in additions and renovations to the middle school and high school. The trustees will also consider whether to add a multipurpose activity building at Pottsboro High School for an additional $4 million.

Tuesday’s special meeting will be held at 5:45 p.m. at the Pottsboro ISD administration building located at 105 Cardinal Lane. To review the work of the Community Facilities Team, visit and select the “Community Facility Team” tab. For additional information, call 903-771-0083.
