BALLINGER - The Carnegie Library Board is grateful for businesses and individuals who sponsored the Carnegie Library Golf Tournament held Saturday, June 2 at the Ballinger Country Club.

BALLINGER - The Carnegie Library Board is grateful for businesses and individuals who sponsored the Carnegie Library Golf Tournament held Saturday, June 2 at the Ballinger Country Club.

The event raised $14,500 for the library which will cover several months of operating expenses. The library depends on donations and grants in order to continue to serve Ballinger and surrounding area residents.

“We want to thank all of the businesses and individuals who sponsored or donated raffle items,” said Carnegie Library Board President Kay Smith. “We are very grateful.”

The sponsors included Buddy’s Plant Plus, Double Platinum Sponsor. Platinum sponsors included Ballinger National Bank, Beefmaster Steakhouse, Farmers Insurance Agency-Michael Conrad, First National Bank of Ballinger, Mueller, Inc. and Raymond James Financial Services - Steve Smith.

Gold sponsors included AEP, Ballinger Home Health, Beasley & Justiss, Clayton-Leonard Ranches, Edward Jones Investments - Larry Gilbert, Sweetwater Steel, Toliver Bros., West Texas Pallets - Jason and Jill Battle and Willingham Insurance and Realty.

Silver Plus sponsors included Cty Eye Care-Dr. Stuart Robbins and Travis Tax Services.
