WINTERS - The Winters Public Library is getting in to the holiday spirit with many great cookbooks on the shelves including the “Pioneer Woman Cooks a Year of Holidays” and “1001 Cookie Recipes.” There is also a selection of Christmas themed fiction novels.

WINTERS - The Winters Public Library is getting in to the holiday spirit with many great cookbooks on the shelves including the “Pioneer Woman Cooks a Year of Holidays” and “1001 Cookie Recipes.” There is also a selection of Christmas themed fiction novels.

Activities continue this month with the library hosting an iPhone/iPad class Tuesday, December 12th from 10:00 – 12:00 Noon given by Tom Miller of Abilene.

Craft Time will be at December 12th at 4:00 P.M. at the Library. The Friendly Neighbor Club members will show participants how to make a snowman decoration. All materials will be furnished.

On December 20 the North Runnels Hospital EMS will be giving a diabetes and blood pressure screening from 9-11 a.m. For the best results, do not eat before testing.

All of these programs are provided by the Winters Public Library and are free to the public and everyone is welcome.
