Troy Owens Memorial Buck Out
BALLINGER - Glory Road Cowboy Church presents the Troy Owens Memorial Buck Out at 6 p.m. Saturday July 29. Admission is free, and everyone is invited to take part! The event will be held at the Troy Owens Arena, located at 223 CR 293 in Ballinger. A Chuck Wagon meal is available at a cost of $7 per plate and will be served beginning at 6 p.m. until the food is gone. There will be childrens= activities all through the evening. First place buckles to be awarded in all four events. Events include Shetland Broncs $65 (ages 7-12), Bucking Calves $35 (ages 10 and under), Open Ranch Broncs $100, and Ranch Bulls $100. Farmers Market Saturday
BALLINGER - The Ballinger Farmers Market held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Ballinger. Vendors will line 8th Street in front of Higginbotham's and will be selling a variety of items including fresh produce, handcrafted items, jams, jellies, baked goods and much more. Vendor space is free, and vendors must provide the tables. The Farmers Market will run through September.
Dance all night long to Cory Dutton
SAN ANGELO - Texas grown after a long time Cory Dutton and The Beer Belly Bandits Return to San Angelo for performances from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Saturday, July 22 at the Whiskey River Saloon at 125 E. Concho St. in San Angelo. It will be a "dance all night long" kind of evening.
